Family on holidays in Roma threatened to be stabbed

THREE young boys have allegedly threatened to stab a father after his son refused to hand over his scooter at the Roma Bush Gardens.

Police allege about midday yesterday, September 20, a young boy was riding his scooter with a friend at the gardens when he was approached by three boys.

Officers stated the alleged offenders are aged between six and 10 years of age.

The oldest offender allegedly asked to use the victim’s scooter but was told ‘no’.

The offender allegedly pushed the victim to the ground where he sustained bruising and swelling to his left hip.

The victim ran to his father who then approached the boys telling them to go home.

The youngest offender allegedly pulled out scissors of his shorts, passed them to the ‘ring leader’ who then said “give me the scissors and I’ll stab them”.

The family are currently visiting Roma for a holiday.

They reported the incident to police straight away.

Police are still investigating the matter.
