PHOTO GALLERY: Maranoa families show off their fur babies
INITIALLY hesitant about joining the "dachshund cult”, after meeting a friends' sausage dog, Jessica Pearce was in love.
"Less than a month later, I had my name down for the next litter. Mia was born in April, 2018 and was the runt of her litter,” Miss Pearce said.
"She has a reserved personality and is easy to do anything with or take anywhere. She brings me so much joy... she knows how to sit, shake, drop and roll but her favourite trick is spin.”
A model for Lowrider Co and with 1.9k followers on Instagram, Mia is the loved little sister to 18-year-old Bluey.
"My family always felt like Bluey chose us when we saw him in the window (at a Toowoomba pet shop), he kept running up to us,” Miss Pearce said.
"Bluey has been the most loyal little guy, he's always up for a cuddle and a play ... He always seems to know when I need him.”
Stay tuned for our next instalment of the Pets of the Maranoa.
