Roma Show's Machinery Alley fuelled by local businesses

LOCAL businesses will come together at the Roma Show, and set up shop at Bassett Park on May 10 and 11.

While other traders will be coming from away to join the locals on Machinery Alley this year, the show society has extended a sincere thank you to the home-grown businesses who are throwing their support behind the community

"In 2019 we have been lucky enough to not only secure sponsorship from big-hearted businesses who want to support the community, but we have also seen many businesses return to display their goods at the Roma Show,” Roma Show Society president Puddy Chandler said.

"Throughout the event, and in Machinery Alley, you will find local businesses who support the Roma Show by displaying their products for patrons to view - and perhaps purchase at a later date.

"What a relaxed way to see what's on offer without the pressure of a salesroom, and then explore the many other fantastic offerings of your local show.”

This year, local businesses on display include Clipex, Armstrong Auto Group, Black Toyota, Maranoa Mini Motors, Pumps N Solar, Crawfo's Tyres, Kimlins Camping World, Taylor's Mechanical, Taylor's Parts Centre, Roma Firefighting Equipment and Santos.

Simplicity Coatings, Camel Tanks, Citisolar North and Co2 are also set to make an appearance at the show, making up the contingent of out-of-town traders coming to the event.

The Roma Golf Club will also make an appearance in Machinery Alley. Their ever-popular driving range is coming back for 2019.

"It is a great spot for any keen golfer to stop,” Ms Chandler said.
