WADE away the heat at the recently upgraded Injune Wading Pool from today, Monday September 21.

As well as a reseal and repairs to the fibreglass lining of the wading pool, the upgrades include the installation of interactive features, refurbishment of the existing aqua mushroom and a safer entry into the pool via the new steps and safety rail.

New Manager Veronica Pringle is looking forward to welcoming back everyone to the new look Injune Wading Pool, open just in time for the September school holidays.

Maranoa Regional Council mayor Tyson Golder said the improvement to the wading pool should provide a positive experience for the community that use the pool at Injune.

“Maranoa Regional Council is always looking for ways to improve Council assets for the Maranoa community,” Cr Golder said.

“The Wading Pools are great assets for the region because they add another activity to the list for school holidays.”

These upgrades were funded entirely by council through the 2019/20 Capital Works Program.
